The Isle Gallery
Is set in the beautiful surroundings of Tynwald Mills Craft Centre, and shopping complex, the Isle Gallery is ideally situated. Tynwald Mills encourages a family friendly environment with activity for children, resting places, restaurant/cafe culture in a relaxed and natural environment.
The Isle Gallery compliments the craft element to which the history and name of the complex lends itself and is run by a not for profit organisation, Artreach Studios. The work currently showing at the Gallery includes oil and acrylic painting, wood carving, limited and unlimited prints of local and international artists. We promote artists working in both traditional and contemporary techniques.
As well as monthly exhibitions The Isle Gallery also hosts Children and Adult Art workshops that run throughout the year.

Who are you likely to find at the gallery and what do they do?
Colette Gambell BA (Hons) Fine Art. Colette is an Artist: Exhibition and Gallery Shop Coordinator and Art Workshop Instructor
I often cross fertilise materials, techniques and ideas to create the desired form, fluidity, colour & empathy; boundaries don't exist. Influenced by the ocean, its power, authority and the wondrous world below, nautical elements often filtrate my work. Human emotions are also highly influential and form the basis and feeling behind most of my work. I always aim to create beauty, even when beauty is offered through truth and not conventional aesthetics.
Kate Jerry BA (Hons) Fine Art. Kate is an Artist, Curator Gallery and Art Workshop Coordinator and Workshop Instructor
I am inspired by an eclectic mixture of subject matter from nature to patterns, pieces of text from English literature and popular motifs. I begin with an idea, drawing or sketch and these I develop into a design for a print. My paintings allow for adventure, exploring the qualities of the mediums I use. I instructing children and adult art workshops.............I am inspired by children's freedom to express..........and adults excitement when they create their first print! I believe everyone has the ability to create wonderful artworks, particularly if they allow for accidents and let go of preconceived ideas.
